A celebration in the rugged mountains of the greater Yellowstone wilderness.
July 20, 2024!
Come join us in a fun for all horseshoe tournament in honor of the late Gary (Ferd), Paul and Debbie Mefford who all loved to ride horses in the Absaroka wilderness, throw horseshoes, drink beers and tell stories. The horseshoe fest is a family and friends event that is not super competitive (except when it is!) full of summertime mountain fun and a great way to celebrate life in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
don’t miss
the swimmin’ hole!
This very special place on the Clark’s Fork river in Crandall, Wyoming is known as the “memorial” and it would be sacrilege not to take a dip in the fog clearin’ glacial waters! We plan to make a day trip to the swimming hole from the town of Cody, on Thursday, July 18th.
Bring your suits, towels, flip flops or Tevas or Chacos, snacks, dranks, dogs, kids, a sweatshirt, bear spray, and cajones!
There is a GPS link below that will take you directly to parking for the swimming hole. There is no cell service once we are up there.
OR you can meet at Kassidy + Ben’s house to caravan at 9:30am.
